BBTchart is a spreadsheet designed for use with
Microsoft Excel 5.0 or later, and will probably
also work with similar spreadsheet programs that
can import from Excel. The spreadsheet works in
Windows 3.x, Windows95, and WindowsNT. It also
should work on a Mac, but we haven't tested it.

INTRODUCTION
------------

This spreadsheet is designed to give you a clear
way to collect information about your menstrual
cycle and fertility signs. It should help you
see the patterns in your cycle so that you can
more closely predict when you are most likely to
conceive.

BBTchart is a tool for the collection of data,
not an instruction on getting pregnant.

INSTALLATION
------------

Installation is pretty simple.

     1. Create a directory called "bbtchart".
        You may want to create this directory
        as a subdirectory under Excel (or other
        spreadsheet software) just to keep things
        close together.
  
     2. Extract all the BBTchart files into the
        "bbtchart" directory.

     3. Open Excel and choose Open File. Go to
        the"bbtchart" directory and choose
        bbtchart.xls.

That will get you up and running. There's online
help to answer any questions about using the
spreadsheet.

NOTE: The online help file (bbtchart.hlp) must be
placed in the same directory as the spreadsheet
(bbtchart.xls) _or_ in the Windows directory in
order to work. Also, do not change the name of
the file bbtchart.xls or the macros will not
function.

SUGGESTIONS
-----------

Using BBTchart: It's probably a good idea to print
put a few copies of the spreadsheet so that you
can fill out information in your bedroom each
morning. You'll fit more detail when you type it
in later, and it will certainly look neater (one
of the reasons we came up with this chart to begin
with) but entering information in pen or pencil
will make sure you don't forget anything.

Printing: The spreadsheet was done in a few
colors. If you have a black and white printer and
don't like the way the page prints, you may want
to select the "all colors to black" option in your
printer setup dialog box.

We hate having to say something like this, but we do
need to protect ourselves. We're making BBTchart
available to you for FREE. The main reason we aren't
planning to charge for this spreadsheet is that we
figure infertility patients are already being
financially soaked by the medical community. Pineland
Press and Pineland Multimedia are not seeking to gain
anything here, but rather to provide a tool we hope
you'll find useful. Because of this:
